CMH Kootenay introduces Blizzard skis into their 2018 heli-ski fleet
The end of summer is in sight and the prep for the 2018 heli-skiing season is well under way. Part of that preparation includes the inclusion of Blizzard skis into CMH Kootenay’s fleet this season.
With over 25 years working for CMH, Retail Services Manager Andy Anderson knows what he’s doing when it comes to picking the right gear for guests.
“Their construction is new-tech, that’s why we chose them,” speaks Andy from his office in Banff that’s lined with a wall of vintage skis; the perfect visual representation of his appreciation of ski gear through the ages. “The 114 width of the Rustler, and the 112 for the Sheeva, hits that sweet spot for almost all of our skiers.”
Andy knows what he’s talking about. Within his quarter century stint with CMH, nine of those years were spent working at almost every CMH lodge as the retail shop manager.
“Over the years, many of our guests have told us that this 114/112 width is their preferred go-to. We listened and worked to source these Blizzard skis that hit the mark and, purely from a construction standpoint, offer the versatility in a ski that will make all our different types of skiers as happy as possible.”
The addition of the Blizzard Rustler 11 and Sheeva 11 skis will complement the existing fleet of K2 skis at CMH Kootenay for this coming season.
